Dr. Tammie Jenkins received her bachelor’s degree in 1989 from the University of Kentucky and her medical degree in 1993 from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency training in 1996 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC where she served as Chief Resident during her third year. She is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Jenkins and her husband (Robert “Doug” Jenkins, MD) practiced in Plano, Tx for 25 years prior to joining A.P. Beutel Health Center with 20 of those years managing their independent private practice.
They have 3 adult children. Jake is an electrician in Dallas. Josh is A&M class of ’24 and Ashley is A&M class of ’26. Having been married to an Aggie for 27 years, Dr. Jenkins is excited to be on campus taking care of students and learning more about Aggie traditions.
