The ability to provide excellent customer service is a two-way street: patients need to know what services are available to them and also communicate with providers their needs and expectations. Our staff members want to be ready to serve you and your needs. However, it is essential for our patients to understand how our clinic works and come with a level of patience. With over 60,000 students at Texas A&M University, our clinic serves approximately 25,000 students every year. That’s a lot of appointments! Due to limited space, there are times that our clinic can be extremely busy, leading to unanticipated wait times. Our providers want to spend the time with their patients to listen, diagnose, and appropriately treat whatever ailment has brought you to our clinic.
The level of customer service you receive is important to us no matter how you’re accessing SHS services: when you’re physically present in our clinic, how you navigate our website, and the professionals you interact with over the phone or via email. Each of these avenues contributes to your experience at Student Health Services, hopefully making us your first choice when feeling ill or needing care. Student Health Services is committed to serving the students of Texas A&M with joy, respect, and excellence. We cannot do what we do without our students, and we humbly thank you for the continued support to care for you and your fellow Aggies.
If you are ever not satisfied with the service you receive during your visit, please fill out our SHS Online Feedback Form (shs.tamu.edu/comment). We appreciate your feedback to help us become better in serving you.
