Physical Therapy
services are located in the basement of A.P. Beutel Health Center, Room 028.
Our current office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Scope of Service
Licensed physical therapists provide
preventative and rehabilitative services for conditions that affect
muscles, bones and joints to the students of Texas A&M University.

- foot and ankle care
- knee sprains
- muscle strains
- hand, elbow, and shoulder injuries
- back problems
- headaches and neck strains
- wound care

Access
Students desiring to receive physical
therapy treatment must have a referral for these services from a qualified
source. The list of qualifying referral sources includes:

- physicians
- dentists
- chiropractors
|
|
- podiatrists
- physician's assistants
- advanced nurse practitioners
|
Students may come by the physical therapy
clinic or call (979) 458-8383 to schedule an appointment.
Cost
Physical therapy services are provided at
a cost of $5 - $20 per visit depending on how many procedures are provided.
All students currently enrolled at Texas A&M University are eligible for
physical therapy services at these costs.
Collaboration
Physical therapists currently utilize the
Student Recreation Center to assist students in transitioning from therapy
to their own independent fitness or sports program.
