The CAP accredited medical
laboratory is staffed by registered medical technologists who perform a
wide range of routine hematological, chemical and bacteriological
diagnostic tests. There are charges for all services provided in our
laboratory.
You need a physician's order to have lab work
performed at SHS. If your physician does not work at SHS you can bring the
order in to the Laboratory check in desk or have your physician fax it to
our Laboratory at (979) 458-8334.
You do not need an appointment to have lab work
performed at SHS. However, if your physician has called or faxed in an
order, you may want to call our Laboratory at
(979) 458-8333 to
make sure we have received it before you come in.
