Please plan to arrive for your appointment 20 minutes before your scheduled time. After the injection is administered, you will be required to stay for 20 minutes and be measured before leaving.
Q. How do I order an allergy injection?
The allergy injections must be initiated by an outside physician. (Allergy testing is not performed at the health center). Students must have a signed physician order and the antigen for the injection. These items can be brought in by the student or mailed in by their doctor. No injections will be given until the order is received and accepted. Students must receive the first dose of their allergy serum with an allergist. Before receiving their first allergy shot at SHS, they must first make an appointment with a nurse and a physician for approval.
